The Firm

Today The Architecture Group is regarded as an “architectural force” in public sector work. Twenty years ago when TAG was conceived, small firms had access to public sector projects. TAG embraced these opportunities by providing public sector clients with expertise, patience, and a collaborative team approach. This approach led to a successful outcome for our clients and ultimately defined our position in the market today. Currently 95% of our work is institutional and n the public sector.

TAG continues to focus our energy on providing service to clients where architecture is meaningful to them. We listen carefully and thrive on the challenge of providing superior design service while meeting the clients’ functional and budgetary requirements. Our marketing strategy is to direct our resources to providing more service, more effort and more time with our clients on their projects.

For the future, practical, sustainable design must be incorporated into project execution, not as an exercise, but as part of the fabric of any project. It will simply be an ingredient in the process, just as universal design, building codes, creativity, innovation and environmental consciousness are integral to the execution of great design. TAG will work with our clients in this evolving paradigm to logically apply principles that are project appropriate, — and the notion of checklists to determine awareness is outdated.

TAG will be working more collaboratively with the construction industry in delivering seamless, superior services without the distinct separation between design and construction. The intent is that this team approach can provide useful insight from daily operations through the construction of a building. Building and maintaining trust among the owners, design team and contractors is key. We intend for that trust to start with us.
